DANIEL w. FLETCHER is a London-based contemporary menswear brand, established in 2015 after Daniel Fletcher graduated from Central Saint Martins.
Originally from the North West of England, Daniel moved to London to study and gained experience at Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Burberry and Lanvin before starting his brand. Daniel's eponymous label made its mark immediately when Opening Ceremony bought his graduate collection, and produced a capsule collection of eight of his designs for Spring/Summer '16.
Daniel produces deeply personal collections that explore his thoughts on current affairs and social issues, with a focus on casual luxury each collection combines timeless shapes and new fabrics and motifs. These collections have been presented on the LFWM schedule for the past four seasons in a number of different formats, both digitally and in presentation form; SS19 will mark the brands first runway show.
DANIEL w. FLETCHER was a recipient of the Future British Award supported by Boden for SS18 and AW18 as well as being nominated for the 2017 LVMH Prize. Daniel was also a recipient of the River Island X BFC Fashion Film Award 2016 for his fashion film, ‘Stay', which was showcased his SS17 collection and in 2018 was named as one of Drapers 30 Under 30.
Retail projects have also played a key part of the development of the DANIEL w. FLETCHER brand. A four floor hanging installation at the historic Liberty London store marked the designers first UK stockist and has been followed with installations in some of the brands 18 international stockists including Tom Greyhound, Paris and Beams International Gallery, Tokyo. In October 2016 Daniel opened a pop up store in Covent Garden, in collaboration with renowned architect Farshid Moussavi. Designed to be an immersive experience reflecting the personality and aesthetic of the brand, the store included an exhibition celebrating the enormous variety of magazines and stylists that have chosen to feature DANIEL w. FLETCHER.
