The Shining Satin Bird

For Spring/Summer 2026, DANIEL w. FLETCHER journeys to the Scottish Highlands, drawing inspiration from the region’s rugged beauty and presented in the form of a photographic zine.

Nature takes centre stage in Fletcher’s designs. Hand-painted thistles bloom across printed shirts, while shades of heather move from the mountains to the body. These are paired with voluminous taffetatrousers, silk neck scarves, and lambswool berets, evoking a distinctly British sensibility.

.

Tailoring is a cornerstone of the collection. Long-line jackets feature Edwardian-inspired nipped-in waists and military detailing, offered in both double- and single-breasted styles. Though the backdrop may bewild and untamed, the collection is imbued with a sense of formality. Organza shirts billow
in the breeze; tuxedo jackets are fastened and finished with crystal buttonholes—ready not just for the highlands, but the ballroom.

Signature DANIEL w. FLETCHER elements return with new energy. Stripes are bolder, shorts are shorter, corsets tighter and faux fur overcoats heavier. The collection captures a romantic yet resilient spirit, grounded in tradition but reflective of the designer’s vision for a brave new world of menswear.
